We Believe!
My form teacher at college is making a nuisance of himself. He's noticed that I've stopped doing any Sports. You're supposed to do at least one session a week in one of your Free Periods. He says it's a legal requirement.
I used to do Running. I thought it would just be a quick 100m sprint and then off to the cafeteria for a coffee and a doughnut. Instead it turned out to be "Cross Country." It's a right con because the nearest countryside is at least 10 miles away. It's more "Cross Tarmac." It was a complete nightmare. They made you run for a whole half hour. In the end I had to stop doing it because all the pre-school kids from the local estate kept laughing at me and throwing stones when I ran past.
The problem is that I don't know what sport to do next. I definitely want to do something indoors away from any little kids. I could have done Step Aerobics with Jen but she's started doing it when I have Computer Science now. That also means I can't go and cheer her on like I used to.
I quite fancy doing table tennis but I've got no-one else to play with. It's been preying on my mind because my Form Tutor says he's going to put me down for Rugby if I don't choose soon.
But now I've had a great idea that will kill two birds with one stone! It's also been preying on my mind about Daniel's threat and about Steve being beaten up. Clearly the JDL needs to recruit some muscle and fast.
Today I was looking out of the window in Media Studies and I saw, right in front of me, a Whole Ready Made Army of JDL Ninjas. The Girls
Cheerleading Squad!
If I join the Cheerleading Squad I'd be able to recruit them into the JDL and keep my Form Tutor quiet. It's perfect! OK, they were only sparring with pom-poms when I was watching them but it shouldn't take too long to train them up with a Katana.
I've checked the College Charter and it would be Discrimination to exclude me from joining the Cheerleading Squad just because of my gender. I'm not sure whether that extends to the showers afterwards thought but it's going to be worth asking!
With a whole army of Ninja Cheerleaders fighting for the JDL, Daniel is going to me completely out-gunned. All he's got is Mad Vlad.
Actually I'm having second thoughts now. This is a big decision and I need to get it right. Do you think joining the Women's Beach Volleyball Team would be better?

I think either decision would be quite good
You're implying that you're a college student. How about trying to use some college-level English. For example, "... I used to do running ...". What kind of construct is THAT? How about simply saying, "I used to run"?
